FOs can apply for a funding for teambuilding activities they organize for their members.

Note: this offer only applies to multi-campus FOs.
This covers activities and initiatives that an FO organises for its own members or for the broader student population, as well as related promotional material. These projects must take place in the context of education or student representation.
There is one shared total budget for these grants across all FOs. Individual applications are submitted to the Stura Board of Directors, which decides whether or not to approve them.
As approval takes place during a Board meeting, it is important that applications are submitted in time. FOs can consult the calendar of scheduled Board meetings below, so they can take this into account when planning their application and ensure it can be approved before their activity takes place.
There are two types of FOs: non-profit organisations (vzw) and de facto associations.
Non-profits can apply for the full amount of grants, textile funding and team building budget in one go by filing an expense report [based on the guidelines described above]. If you wish to deviate from a guideline, submit a request via info@stura.be
De Facto associations submit a budget plan for all separate activities to be undertaken. After the activity, they always provide a separate expense report, with original supporting documents attached. Stura then keeps track of how much funding they have left.
In return, we always ask the FOs to provide photos and a short report for Stura’s annual report. This is a brief text describing the activity (set-up, purpose, attendance, …).
