Financial Support

For Faculty Consultative Bodies & Campus Councils

For each FO

Non-profit grants

Stura intervenes in the filing costs with the registry, including for campus councils.

Textile

You can use this fund for the purchase of pullovers or other textile for your FO-members. However, the Stura logo should be printed visibly on the clothing.

The budget is €20 per FO-member*

*The guideline for intervention equals the number of FO-members allowed to be present during a closed GA

Teambuilding

FOs can make use of funding for teambuilding events with their members. Stura will appreciate to receive photos of these events for the annual report.

General funding

Transport

Transport costs eligible for funding are divided into three categories:

1. Relocations for Stura
2. Relocations for your FO
3. Relocations to faculty meetings

note: this offer only applies to multi-campus FOs

Project grants

This includes all sorts of activities that an FO can organise for its members or the wider student population, as well as promotional materials.

Project grants consist of an overall budget across all FOs. Individual applications have to be approved by Stura.

How to apply for an allowance

There are two types of FOs: non-profit organisations (vzw) and de facto associations.

Non-profits can apply for the full amount of grants, textile funding and team building budget in one go by filing an expense report [based on the guidelines described above]. If you wish to deviate from a guideline, submit a request via info@stura.be

De Facto associations submit a budget plan for all seperate activities to be undertaken. After the activity, they always provide a separate expense report, wit original supporting documens attached. Stura then keeps track of how much funding they have left.

In exchange for our contribution, we ask that the FOs provide pictures and a short report for the annual report of Stura.
