Discover COBRA

What is COBRA?

COBRA stands for cooperation, reflection and action, with a focus on checks and balances. These principles determine the way KU Leuven continuously develops the quality of your education.

How does COBRA work?

COBRA opens the substantive discussion on educational quality at three levels. Both in your study programme and at the levels of the faculty and university, people think about education. Students, teaching staff and other employees reflect on problems and formulate action points to tackle them. They do this in cycles of four years, divided into a two-year soft cycle and a two-year hard cycle.

Would you like to have a look at the four-yearly quality report of your programme? In the KU Leuven programme guide you will find a COBRA sheet for each study programme (after selecting your programme, go to the tab ‘educational quality’). Once logged in, you can also consult additional documents as a student or staff member of our university!
