Stura is the official Student Council of KU Leuven. We represent all 60.000 students at all campuses of KU Leuven. Through student representatives at each faculty, we gather student opinions and take that input to work wih KU Leuven to optimise our education.
A mandatary at Stura is a volunteer who is committed to making the student voice heard at numerous meetings. For example, if you are a Diversity & Inclusion mandatary, you attend the diversity council and participate in meetings of the subgroups of the council.
Over the past few years, our mandataries have dealt with topics like the milestone and deliberation package, calibration tests, teacher evaluations anda host of other issues.
Below you find an overview of the different mandates within Stura. Each mandate is accompanied by a sheet with more information on the content, tasks and expectations of the mandate. You will find this sheet under ‘More info’.
