POC

The Programme Committee (POC) is the body responsible for ensuring the quality of education within a study programme. It serves as the central forum where all stakeholders engage in dialogue to develop, monitor and improve educational quality.

Activities and responsibilities


  • Day-to-day organisation and follow-up of the programme(s).

  • Advising the Faculty Board on educational policy.

  • Responsible for:

    • Programme vision and profile

    • Learning outcome and curriculum

    • Assessment and evaluation policy

    • Study feasibility and student characteristics

    • Quality assurance and monitoring

Structure


  • Established by the faculty board.
  • Can delegate tasks to subordinate bodies, such as local education committees (OC).
  • May be part of a Faculty Programme Committee (fPOC) coordinating multiple POCs.

  • Programme director (chair)

  • Senior Academic Staff (ZAP)
  • Assistant Academic Staff and Researchers (AAP / BAP)
  • Student representatives
