POC
The Programme Committee (POC) is the body responsible for ensuring the quality of education within a study programme. It serves as the central forum where all stakeholders engage in dialogue to develop, monitor and improve educational quality.
Activities and responsibilities
Day-to-day organisation and follow-up of the programme(s).
Advising the Faculty Board on educational policy.
Responsible for:
Programme vision and profile
Learning outcome and curriculum
Assessment and evaluation policy
Study feasibility and student characteristics
Quality assurance and monitoring
Structure
- Established by the faculty board.
- Can delegate tasks to subordinate bodies, such as local education committees (OC).
- May be part of a Faculty Programme Committee (fPOC) coordinating multiple POCs.
