Faculty Board

The Faculty Board is the executive body of a faculty. It is responsible for day-to-day management and operational leadership. It implements the decisions of the Faculty Council and prepares policy proposals.

Functions and responsibilities


Daily management

Coordinates education, research, finances and human resources.

Policy implementation

Translates decisions of the Faculty Council into concrete actions.

Strategic planning

Drafts policy proposals and sets priorities.

Budget management

Manages the faculty's finances and resources.

Quality assurance

Safeguards innovation in education and research, as well as accreditations.

Composition


Dean

Chair, overall leadership and representation.

Vice-deans

Coordinate specific domains (education, research, staff, etc.).

Academic secretary (optional)

Supports the Dean.

Heads of department (depending on the faculty)

Represent the departments.

Administrative director

Manages administration and logistics.

Student representatives (optional)

Represent student interests.
