Decretal Student Services Council
The Decretal Student Services Council is the official statutory participation body for student services at KU Leuven, as defined by the Flemish Higher Education Decree.
Objectives
- Ensure student participation in student services policy.
- Safeguard the accessibility, affordability and quality of student services.
- Represent student interests regarding social support and student well-being.
Operations
- Advises and decides (as prescribed by decree) on student services policy and budgets.
- Consults with the university management and KU Leuven Student Services.
- Monitors policies on housing, financial support, mental health, sports and culture.
- Operates as a formal consultation body, distinct from but closely connected to the KU Leuven Student Council.
